Course summary

In this course you have learnt a bit more about the process of making a website. Here are some final tips.

Over this course, you have learnt a bit more about the process of making a website, the people and roles involved, and the technologies which you can use. Armed with this knowledge, you’ve had a look at different jobs and even started to think about how you can score your first role as a web developer!

Final tips

Here are some final top tips for you:

  • Get involved in the community: There is a huge community of developers both online and in-person. This is a great way to meet other developers, learn more about technologies and tools, and meet potential employers.
  • Learn multiple technologies: While you might start out as a WordPress developer, or an HTML & CSS developer, you should try and learn multiple ways of making a website. This will help broaden your horizons and the number of projects you can be involved in.
  • Make some websites: The best way to learn and develop, as well as to show your skills, is to make some websites! You don’t need to publish any of them online if you don’t want to, but having a GitHub Page to showcase your skills to prospective employers is a great idea.

Take the assessment

Now take the assessment and gain your certificate. You have three attempts at each question. Good luck!
