What is linking?

Linking is a natural part of English connected speech. All native speakers of English do it when they speak at a natural pace.

One of the reasons why learners of English have a hard time understanding normal speech is that native speakers don’t say every word individually. It’s normal that words are linked together. Let’s have a look at how this is done.
