How to reduplicate the verb in the form of ABAB

We have learnt the reduplication of verbs, which indicates a short action or an attempt, such as: 看——看看; 说——说说

If the verb has two characters, then we can reduplicate the verb in the form of ABAB, for example:

休息——休息休息

这周末我不想出去，想在家休息休息。

认识——认识认识

公司来了一位新同事，经理说会介绍我们认识认识。

同事：小丽，那个高高的男人是你们公司的吗？

小丽：你对他了解吗？

同事：我们过去是邻居，后来是大学同学，关系一直狠不错。

小丽：他一般喜欢做什么？

同事：他有很多爱好，唱歌、画画儿、踢足球，什么都会。

小丽：真的？那你介绍我们认识认识吧。

同事：不行，现在他是我丈夫。

好，我们一起回答问题。

那个高高的男人有什么爱好？

好，下面你能用自己的话说说对话吗？

 小丽的同事很想认识那个高高的男人，问小丽对那个人了解吗。小丽告诉同事他们过去是邻居，后来是大学同学， 关系一直很不错，那个人有很多爱好，唱歌、画画儿、踢足球，什么都会。但是小丽不想把他介绍给同事，因为他现在是小丽的丈夫。
