In this module, you will explore the importance of quantitative research strategies and appropriate sampling methods/techniques. When carrying out research in business or for your studies, you may not always be able to collect data from all your cases. Therefore, it is often necessary to select a sample.

This module presents the steps that you will go through to conduct sampling. Furthermore, as there are two main sampling techniques/methods, you will need to understand the differences so that you can select the most appropriate sampling method for your research.

Finally, you will learn about the relative advantages and disadvantages of each sampling method. We will explore these with using a questionnaire to achieve specific research goals applying different techniques.
