This week

This week, we'll seek to enhance screening practice and share experience.

Last week’s education focused on domestic violence and abuse (DVA) from the perspective of the childbearing person and their families.

This week we will seek to enhance our screening practices by exploring how to ask about DVA and respond effectively to disclosure.

Midwives will share their experiences of supporting individuals affected by DVA in clinical practice and also reflect on their own experiences, as survivors of DVA.

Finally, we will explore professional wellbeing in this context.
