Legal framework: Ambitions and targets

The video above provided an overview of the current trends concerning how countries set ambitions and schemes to develop offshore wind projects. The aim is to familiarize ourselves with certain legal concepts used in the offshore wind industry and have a basic understanding of the rules and schemes that govern offshore wind activity.

While you watch the videos think about how rules and governance schemes impact the way that projects are planned, conducted and financed, for example. Can you connect some of your experience in the energy sector with some of these aspects or maybe through these videos you are able to identify the “why’s and because” of some choices in energy projects and policy?
