Optional: Have a go at using Geogebra

Sam introduces you to some of the navigation features of GeoGebra.

In the next step you will see how we can solve the bakery problem using a very useful online tool called Geogebra. Before we do that, in the video above Sam introduces you to some of the navigation features of GeoGebra and how we can input the constraints and how we can manipulate the viewpoint within GeoGebra.

To do this exercise, you will need to download the zip file attached here, and open the file in Geogebra:

  • Download the file below and rename the file extension from .zip to .ggb
  • Open Geogebra and click ‘Start calculator’
  • In the top left hand corner, click the hamburger (the three horizontal lines)
  • Click Open
  • Click Local file
  • Browse to your .ggb file and open it.

(This step is optional – you won’t need to do it to pass the assessment.)
