Production, sign off, and launch & monitor

In this step the learner will understand the importance of the final steps in communications planning: production, sign off, launch and monitor.
Whether you are producing the communication yourself or working with someone else, it is your role to ensure that what is produced is ready on time, meets what was required by the brief, and is accurate.

You will need to communicate regularly with third parties and colleagues to ensure they’ve understood the brief, will deliver on time and will stay on budget.

Sign off
As we have mentioned, you are responsible for the accuracy of a communication: everything that is claimed should be true; you must be respectful of your audience; the copy must be clean with no spelling or grammar mistakes; the creative should all follow your brand guidelines, and it should be compliant with any relevant legislation.

Signing off a communication ready to launch to your audience is challenging and requires your full attention – give yourself enough time to really focus.

Launch & monitor
Now you are ready for the world to see your work. This is not the time to sit back and relax, it is time to monitor how well it is being received. Every channel has its own methods of measuring success, to be a great marketer you should treat this step with utmost importance.
