Master of Wine Candidate, Johanna is a renowned wine scholar, as well as a Managing Partner at Clos de Tsampéhro, a premium organic boutique winery in Valais, Switzerland. She is also in the process of obtaining an extremely challenging and unique wine certification, a title of Master of Wine.
According to The Institute of Masters of Wine the total number of MWs in the world is now 396 in 30 countries. Johanna is one of the youngest candidates. To reach the title she will have to go through the series of complex examinations including three Blind Tastings of 12 wines (36 wines in total) in which wines must be assessed for variety, origin, commercial appeal, winemaking, quality and style.
