SPEAKER 1: So hello, and thank you for joining us on this online math subject knowledge course by STEM Learning from FutureLearn. Please make sure to check out our range of subject knowledge courses. We’ve got courses covering fractions, understanding number, proportional reasoning, as well as a new graphs course as well, which we hope you’d enjoy. It’s been really good to see people engaged with this content. No matter what your experience is with mathematics, from key stage 2, to key stage 3, and beyond, it’s been great to see you on the course. Great to hear your comments.

SPEAKER 2: And we also have a number of other courses, residential courses, that take place at our centre in York. Check out the courses available for maths teachers. We also run a suite of courses for maths for science teachers. So if you’re a science teacher looking to deliver some maths within science, then we have a range of courses that are suitable for you. We’ve also got a number of maths resources available on the maths resources page. So please have a look at the STEM website and check those out.

SPEAKER 1: So thanks again from myself and Steve. I hope to see you again on another online course, and if not, face to face at the National STEM Centre in York.

Q&A with the National STEM Learning Centre

Twice a year we will run an online Q&A with the Maths Subject Specialists at the National STEM Learning Centre. We will take your questions and record our answers to a selection of the most common or unusual problems!

The video will be posted to the STEM Learning Community Group for this course. You can post your questions to the community group before the deadlines advertised on the group.
