Into Film is the leading charity for film in education and works to transform the lives of young people aged 5-19 through film.

We are dedicated to providing learners across the UK with a wealth of educational and cultural opportunities – from engaging with our free curricular-focused lesson resources and courses to attending the world’s largest youth film festival.

More on wellbeing
If you are looking for more film-led activities for other areas of mental health and wellbeing, our Mental Wellbeing theme page is a great place to start. Featuring film lists, articles and teaching resources, it has a range of materials to open up discussions about this very important topic.

While you’re there, be sure to check out our new Moving Minds 2 resource. This collection of film-based activities delves into youth-made films created to destigmatise mental health problems as part of the Moving Minds project. Linked to educational frameworks across the nations, this resource covers a range of wellbeing topics and empowers learners to use filmmaking to express thoughts and feelings that are difficult to articulate through words alone.

Go beyond the course
If Mindfulness Through Film has whetted your appetite for more – and you’re a UK-based educator – why not explore our full programme?

You can bring a touch of Hollywood into your school setting with a streaming service from Into Film, created in partnership with Filmbankmedia. Into Film+ is the first feature film streaming platform designed specifically for UK schools, providing curriculum-linked films, exclusive bonus content and resources that support learning outcomes for pupils aged 5-19.

If you’re looking to train your staff with more online courses and webinars, or access our curriculum-linked resources, we’re here to help you put film at the heart of your students’ learning.

We can also support you to set up an Into Film Club, provide big screen experiences through our annual Into Film Festival and challenge your learners’ creativity with our regular review writing and filmmaking competitions. Your pupils might even end up accepting a top honour from a Hollywood star at our Into Film Awards!
