Learn more about your study group task for Week 6.

This week is all about learning how to continue practising and applying mindfulness in your life after the course ends. In your study group this week, you’re going to share what you’ve learned from the course and then create a list showcasing your top tips for adopting mindfulness as a way of life that can be shared with the other learners.

What you need to do

  1. As a group, decide who will be your reporter for this week’s task. Their job is to share with other learners the work you’ve produced as a group. Consider having more than one reporter in your study group. This helps to share the workload if it gets busy later in the week (If you were the reporter for a previous week, think about sharing the role with another group member).
  2. By yourself, work through the week. Play the videos and do the meditation. Engage with the content and other learners.
  3. From Wednesday 15 March, discuss some of the key things you have learned from the course with your study group. How do you plan to adopt mindfulness as a way of life? If you’ve taken part in this course before, what helped you continue with your practice after the course ended? What obstacles arose to practising (that might come up for other learners this time)?
  4. As a group, create an agreed list of the group’s favourite ways of practising and applying mindfulness.
  5. If you’re the reporter, share the list with other learners in the Comments section of the Weekly feedback from Craig and Richard for Week 6 step by Sunday 19 March.

We’d love for the work you produce as a study group to meet the 1200 character limit of the comments, but if you find that you’re working on a longer piece of writing with your study group or just need a place to workshop your ideas, consider using temporary text hosting tools like Pastie or NoteHub. Find out more about using Temporary text hosting.

At the end of this week, learners who have joined a study group will share the work they’ve produced for this week’s study group task. Once they have, be sure to provide your own constructive feedback and commentary.

If you missed this week’s group task, or are catching up with the course – you’re not alone – be sure to provide your own constructive feedback and commentary.
