This course has been created by your lead educators, Craig Hassed and Richard Chambers, along with course team member Sherelle Connaughton and others from Monash University.

Professor Craig Hassed

Craig is medically trained and has been teaching within the Faculty of Medicine at Monash University since 1989. He is coordinator of mindfulness programs at Monash and is a professor in the Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies. He teaches mindfulness nationally and internationally in health, educational, community, government and corporate settings.

Amongst other engagements, he delivers mindful leadership training to middle management at Victoria Police and works with a growing number of businesses around the world to help them boost performance, resilience and leadership.

Dr Richard Chambers

Richard is a clinical psychologist and internationally-recognised expert in mindfulness. Widely published in the field, he works with many educational, business and community organisations. He also delivers high-performance coaching and workshops to some of Australia’s largest companies

Dr Sherelle Connaughton

Sherelle has worked in varied health and education settings for over 30 years, having trained in the fields of psychology, research, meditation and music therapy. Since completing a PhD and Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2007, her focus has been on health enhancement, particularly mindfulness and stress management, for students and staff at Monash University.

Sherelle has also co-authored publications and facilitated research exploring the impact on online mindfulness training on stress, wellbeing, awareness, work engagement and prosociality.
