When we are talking about One Health, people often do not see the benefits of a closer cooperation between human and animal health.

The lack of close cooperation between these health structures, however, may generate shortfalls. This is especially true when it comes to zoonoses. Transmission cycles can only be broken by a more integrated approach and outbreaks of illnesses could therefore be prevented.
