How Sad Is Too Sad?

In this activity, you'll learn what signs to look for to help you know when sadness has crossed the line to depression, or thoughts of suicide.
In this activity, you’ll learn about sadness related to serious and life-limiting illness. It’s normal to feel sad and even hopeless about what’s happening. But when these feelings get in the way of patients, or family members having any sense of goodness or hope in life, it can be timed to get help. In this week, you’ll learn what signs to look for to help you know when sadness has crossed the line to depression, or thoughts of suicide. We’ll talk about ways you can help people cope with these feelings in another module.
