Manufacturing of solid dosage forms

Learn more about manufacturing of solid dosage forms here!

The wet granulation tablet manufacturing process involves several key steps to produce high-quality tablets. It begins with measuring excipients, followed by high-shear mixing of the active ingredient and diluents to form a uniform blend. A binder solution is then added to create a wet mass, which is granulated and dried using a fluid bed dryer. The dried granules are resized, blended with other excipients like lubricants and glidants, and compressed into tablets using a high-speed tableting machine. Finally, quality control tests such as friability and disintegration are performed to ensure tablet strength and effectiveness.
