Welcome to Week 2 of the Principles of Global Logistics Management.

Last week, we examined definitions of logistics and supply chains and how they are linked, and discussed the importance of physical characteristics of goods and how they affect the design of a global distribution network.

This week, we’ll define globalisation and consider how factors such as international trade blocs and trade flows are shaping the global logistics market.
