The Value Compass

Watch Sue Belton explain the value compass.

The values compass is about having your top five values to hand. Holding what you care deeply about, physically, in the palm of your hand allows you to check in with your values on a daily basis, as you make decisions. You can then be in the routine of observing if the decision you are about to take is in alignment with your values. Having a visual reference can be a wonderful way to engage with them.

Sue will invite you to follow this video by creating and drawing out your own compass. As you do, you are aware of each value as you connect to each segment of your compass. Really feel how each value sits with your body as you create the compass.

You may give each segment a colour, add in an image or draw something to bring you into resonance with it. When something comes up, you can refer to it by keeping it on you throughout the day, inside your handbag, rucksack or even as a screensaver on your phone.
