As we reviewed last time, Korea’s development and subsequent social changes have brought both positive and negative impacts. We’ve achieved such an economic growth, which did come cheap. So someone somewhere at some point in time paid the price. There no free lunch right?

As Korea’s experiences have been good research subjects for year to many, social issues and problems Korea is facing or will face are challenges that you and I are daring to face and address.

Tell you what. There are some young and bright souls who did just that.
In this module, we will take a peek at how they face challenges of their communities because they were different from the previous generations in many aspects and what they did was quite different as well.

That’s what happened when social innovation emerged as a way to address social problems.
