Most chronic social problems are deep rooted.

Responding to phenomenon, like suppressing symptoms, may not be effective. It may rather produce unintended consequences or make matters worse.

One useful metaphor is iceberg. The iceberg model tells us that systemic change can only bring sustainable change, which requires understanding of the entire system, its interconnected parts and their relationship.

It’s fair to say that much of the World is addicted to quick fixes and many of social problems are trapped in vicious circle. Addiction to quick fixes needs to be fixed.

Thorough analysis, facilitating continuous communication & collaboration, empowering stakeholders with intelligence (not just data and information) would help the most stakeholders see the whole picture (system) and how to tackle for sustainable and systemic change.

Collective Impact is a well-known strategy and you may think of it a s a smart collaboration method for producing impact.
