Closing

If I have a last word, I would say this. Tasting a full cycle of innovation effort is more important than size. HYU was founded as the first private technical college in Korea by a true chagemaker when there seemed to be no future for the country. It was a social venture at the time. HYU is not try to save the planet but just reach out and work with changemakers around it as best it can. I do appreciate its vision and sincere effort to move forward. That’s why I joined HYU. It is a leading university in changemakership, social innovation and sustainability education. Like HYU, me and my fellow changemakers, you can start your own version of social innovation where you are.

Clearly, one thing you surely can do is learning. In HYU, there are many opportunities for students and professionals to develop their capabilities for changemakings in their organizations and communities. For example, HYU offers social innovation convergence major. A group of professors and practitioners develops and teaches courses and non-curricular programs, which seek alternative views to understand and respond to the changing world through collaborative research and academic and social discourse.

By now, I do hope you have an action plan for your own learning and development to be a changemakers where you are. Never stop learning and be a changemaker!
