In this video, the professor explains the types and usage of energy. He starts with the definition of energy, types of energy, energy applications, global warming and climate change, energy and the environment, energy conservation, and energy deficiency.

Energy is defined as the ability to cause change, and anything that can do work has energy. It is needed for various daily activities, such as light, power, travel, communication, food preparation and growing medicine and healing, and heating and cooling. Energy comes in various forms, and it can change from one form to another, but the total amount of energy remains constant. The conservation of energy principle states that energy is transferred every time work is done, but the total amount of energy remains constant. However, energy degrades during the transformation process, and high-quality energy becomes less useful as we use it.
