Meet your Lead Educator and academic mentor who will take you on your journey over the next three weeks.

Lead Educator

Dr Annie Delaney

Senior Lecturer, School of Management, RMIT University

Annie has over 20 years’ experience in informal labour, home-based work and corporate accountability. Her research interests include informal and home-based work, gender, and global garment production networks having published in international journals in these areas. She is currently engaged in two research projects: non-judicial redress mechanisms exploring worker redress in relation to the garments sectors in India and Indonesia; and corporate denial in the garment sector in India and Bangladesh. She is a member of the Centre for People Organisations and Work and RMIT research platforms: Social Change and Global Business and Innovation.

Annie holds a PhD in Employment Relations and a Bachelor of Arts. Before coming to RMIT, Annie taught in the Higher Education sector for close to 6 years at Victoria University. Annie is now a Senior lecturer in HRM at RMIT University. She is a member of the Centre for People Organisations and Work and RMIT research platforms: Social Change and Global Business and Innovation.

Academics

Dr Lena Wang

Lecturer, School of Management, RMIT University

Lena teaches and consults on a wide range of areas specialising in individual, leadership and organisational development. She holds a background in research analysis and development, project consultation and has been well published throughout the management and leadership/development sectors.

Lena holds a PhD in Work Psychology and is certified for using a wide range of assessment & training tools. Before coming to RMIT, Lena worked as Educational Program Manager at the Accelerated Learning Lab at The University of Western Australia working with multinationals and public sector organisations on leadership and organisation development. She holds a passion for education, personal development, and positive psychology.
