Coding clubs at schools and in communities are on the rise, but is coding an essential skill for the children in the 21st century?

In this video, Fiona looks at the value coding brings to children’s education and how it prepares them for the modern world – both in a social and professional manner. Fiona also argues that it may not be essential, however, like many school subjects and explains some of her research into this subject.
