The easiest brushing technique

v9

The objective of brushing our teeth is quite easy: remove bacteria and food residues from our mouth while we massage our gums while avoid damaging our teeth and gums with the brushing technique.

The easy technique to put into practice is known as the “Bass technique”, it is a basic technique that can be taught to children, young adults, and adults. It serves as a basis for learning more advanced brushing techniques: such as the modified Bass technique, Stillman, modified Stillman, among others.

For your dental care to be better, here are other tips:

  • Always do Flossing before every tooth brushing.
  • The movements that are made with the toothbrush must be repeated between 5 to 10 times on each tooth.
  • Go to your dentist so he can point out the mistakes you are making while brushing, and in that way improve your technique.
