Anatomy of Gingiva

v3

For the anatomy of the gingiva, well the gingiva begins at the mucogingival line and covers the coronal aspect of the alveolar process. On the palatal aspect, the mucogingival line is absent, the gingiva is a part of the keratinized non-mobile palatal mucosa.

After this gingiva sulcus, you will have an attached gingiva, which is between your enamel and the bone that is around your teeth. The bacteria will just be left there for a lot of time. So they can be there, and they can multiply, and that will give us more problems.
