Why are the Sustainable Development Goals important?

In this video, Grete Faremo, UNOPS, explains why the SDGs are important and how organisations play an essential role in helping to deliver the Goals.

UNOPS is the operational arm of the United Nations. Its mission is to provide infrastructure, procurement and project management services for a more sustainable world. It supports the UN, governments, donors and other partners to deliver humanitarian and development projects throughout the world.

In this video, Grete Faremo explains why the SDGs are important and how organisations play an essential role in helping to deliver the Goals. She also explains how UNOPS is supporting the Goals.
