In Week 4 of this ACT Treasury: Managing Financial Risk course you’ve looked at risk reporting.

You should now be able to understand all of the following:

• the purpose of risk reporting and key benefits

• key performance indicators for financial risk management

• examples of corporate losses arising from trading in financial instruments

• the elements of a system for internal risk reporting

• the importance of comparing risk management outcomes to plan (feedback)

• consequences of ineffective reporting

• international accounting standards.

We really hope you’ve enjoyed the course and that, after your treasury journey, you now have a better understanding of financial risk management and that treasury might be an area in which you’d like to pursue your career.

Your progress in this course has meant that you should now understand the link between treasury and financial risk management.

The culmination of your journey is to take the final assessment, where, on successful completion, you’ll receive a digital credential that you can share widely with your network. That’s the step that follows this recap, so I wish you good luck with that!

And you’ll hear some final words of congratulation and further next steps from the ACT’s Chief Executive.

But for now, thank you for being part of this course, and we look forward to you progressing through further ACT courses and qualifications.
