About the Eductor
He began his senior career in the banking industry in 1986 where he was exposed in various managerial positions in Retail, Commercial, and International Banking and also held the position as Assistant General Manager in Hong Kong from 1997 until he left CIMB in 2005. He later joined a few other organizations at senior level including Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Cagamas Berhad as well as the Head of Islamic Products & Business Development for OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad.
He has contributed actively in the Islamic Finance Industry in Malaysia as Module Writer, Moderator, Reviewer, Trainer with a lot of learning institutions in Malaysia, such as IBFIM, KUIS, UPM, UiTM, MSU etc. and also as guest speaker at seminars and trainings.
He is a graduate in MSc. Islamic Finance and Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP) from INCEIF and also having an MBA and BSc. in Finance from USA.
