Using GitHub's issue tracker

What is Issue Tracker?

GitHub Issue Tracker is a tool that allows you to track bugs, feature requests and other issues related to a project. Each issue is a record of a problem, idea or task and can be assigned to a specific team member.

Issue Tracker allows you to create and manage issues, add comments, attach files and track their progress. When an issue is resolved, you can close it and add notes about the resolution. This is a great way to keep track of what’s been fixed and what still needs attention.

Your task

Now you’ve had a chance to see how to assign cards to repositories, assign members and add tags, you can practise.

On the Project you created last time, add at least three cards to an issue tracker and have a go at:

• assigning them to people (yourself)
• adding tags
• creating branches.

You can use the repository you made last time, or you can make a new repository for this task.
