By the end of Week 1, you will be able to:

  • Put the proper amount of old information in your sentences, particularly at the beginning of them
  • Put the proper amount of new information in your sentences, particularly at the end of them
  • Apply the Venn Diagram approach to information flow
  • Understand when to deviate from certain conventions of punctuation
  • Create nuance in your sentences and slogans by using both variations of “if” and “if not”
