However, all required skills and foundational knowledge are covered within this microcredential.

Please note it is essential that you are able to access a device capable of running a virtual machine.

All teaching is in English, and your proficiency in the language needs to be adequate for postgraduate study.

    Once you’ve successfully completed the microcredential, you’ll receive your university credit from The Open University.

    You’ll have permanent access to the Cisco NetAcad platform and all learning resources and software associated with the microcredential.

What you will receive

15 UK credits at Postgraduate level from The Open University

Credits are awarded on passing the final assessment. The assessment will require you to complete four questions, two of which draw on the results from your Cisco chapter exams and final examinations. The third question focuses on a practical cybersecurity forensic investigation, and the fourth question is a short 500-word academic piece exploring current cybersecurity threats.
