Edge Hill University has been providing higher education since 1885 and is based on an attractive, award-winning 160-acre campus in Lancashire, close to Liverpool and Manchester.

Edge Hill University has achieved Gold, the highest rating in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), for delivering ‘consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students’. The quality of support and engagement infrastructure for students has also received international acclaim through a Global Teaching Excellence Spotlight Award.

Crowned University of the Year in the Educate North Awards 2020/21 in recognition of our continued commitment to delivering an exceptional student experience, we continue to invest and innovate. We have also been rated as a top 10 modern University by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.

We are continually recognised for our outstanding achievements in student support, graduate employment and innovation, as well as our significant role in transforming lives. 95.8% of our students are employed or in further study within 15 months of graduating (Graduate Outcomes 2017/18).
