Great, I have learnt so much useful information regarding theoretical framing of the goals. Indeed, this exquisite course will bring more insightful pieces of knowledge and implications in real life.

  • Hi
This Asma Yasmeen here. I'm Applied linguistics research Scholar from UMT, SKT, Pakistan. I am interested in Teaching with innovation in Academics. I hope this global symposium of hight-tech-learning-course would open new horizon to excel with brilliance and optimization.

  • I am going to work on my questions first I will research on it and after getting my date my evidence I'll then pass on to the stakeholders for the implementation.

  • I really have a wonderful time here in British counsil course.

  • Thanks for letting us know about policymaking.

  • Inspirational

  • Yes agreed be ready to frustrated. All important for me is to show resilience and consistency.

  • Asma Yasmeen made a comment

    Why me?

If I am given so much potential to inquire something then I would definitely like to give myself an opportunity for the best exploration of my life and my ability.

  • I get awareness of what actually policy is and how you make it happen.

  • "You might not adopt just blind faith approach"
Highly impressive and very well presented. Having policy doesn't mean its working. Parallel aspects do need to work on.

  • I'm working on 'ethics', so I will definitely select observation. But yes, scientific aspect will be added too.

  • Agreed.

  • I will apply mixed methods, why? Because in one hand I'll have to find the grounded theory that is yet not known, I mean the case study will never know my concern but I will try to let the other speak by themselves to unleash the hidden perspective or concept they have regarding the topic, that I have chosen actually. On the other hand, quantitative method...

  • How evidence can be used?
With the implementation of 3 factors.
    1. Historical
    2. Political
    3. Geographical or demographically
By putting the research question into more specific participants, we can have a better solution for the problem statement (hypothesis), we have made actually.

  • Good explanation, my ambiguities are cleared now.

    Thanks

  • Case study 1:
Dealt tremendously by demonstration of what actually world needed. FDR played with his people's minds. He honored the silenced by raising their voice. So, jotting and bringing revolutionary ideas were his passion but yes, the force of purpose and policymaking was lacking.

    Case study 2:
Their methodology was to make analysis of causal...

  • Step 4 and 5 are pretty much like RCT- randomised control trials. If we could combine our parallel data in All RCT procedures and looking into the effects, that can be positive or negative, would have diligent out-turn.

  • And yes being objective means to show reflexivity in your evidence. Your personal opinions that can be added in your evidence and through data analysis these can go false as null hypothesis or may it be proved.

  • "How you act, and how you balance your passion and objectivity"

I think the better option for a great policymaking is to rely on evidence. Only with strong evidence we can have best approach to the desired outcomes.

  • My problem statement is that students are mostly unable to communicate in L2. In other sense they have no such skill of Academic writing in English and spoken as well.

Now, I will select my participants from desired population, who are basically stakeholders. By putting qualitative semi-structured interviews and surveys to quantify the evidence, I'll be...

  • To have policy means to be able to influence those in power to change the policy.

  • Yes, much effort is required to bring the untold into negotiation. I'm kinda keen on taking up this opportunity for a great journey.

  • I do admit that I have learnt so many new things and concepts here on this Symposium.

    Great work

  • Really Exciting
"You have unique role in making a difference......no one else has the perspective, the experience or the knowledge that you have had"
Absolutely amazing, if I'm here today then it's a sign to make a real difference. Because if you have s strong desire to make things happen then the world, the nature within this world leads you to have your...

  • Great insight and excellent support from the team.
I am eager for next level in this course.
    Thanks again.

  • What strikes me most was to change the the mindset of the people. Now what if I apply this statement on my passion. It will help me to build more confidence in policymaking.

  • My passion
Is to work on language learning problems.
    Methodology for policy (MFP)
Inducing awareness in my stakeholders., like educators, students, and businessmen. I will extend my circle, making connections with those who would be interested to work with me to introduce the plan.

  • Magnificent Abigail, I really appreciate that you have created enough evidence(findings) to support your policy.

  • True. I also have same experience in my country. Students, teachers, and businessmen all are in great anxiety of inappropriate Language skills. So, I am interested too much in making an impactful policy to foster confidence.

  • Yes I agreed if we take small steps to make new things happen then these little initiatives can bring positive consequences for a bigger change. Continuity, commitment, resilience is the fundamental principle to achieve one's goal. This sustainability will help us to establish a better policy.

  • Great inspiration for us.

  • First one.

I am 100% sure if the Educators are working properly and if the Government taking this issue seriously then all other problems are secondary. Today, in this current situation we need to educate kids, youth, adults, and old. We must optimise Education in a broader perspective, out of the school, college and universities as well. We should raise...

  • I agreed with the last one statement. To bring revolution you must have a policy.

  • Yup. Ready to go beyond.

  • Great explanation. Factual and normative ethics for better communication.

  • The lack of practicality is the only hindrance I can observe in my passion. Just daydreaming and worrying about is not the solution of the problem.

  • A: What we can sustain?
I do agree that resources can make your passions come true into practice as a purpose. But I must say if i don't have such support and even less paid job, the only thing I must retain is to determine myself for a bigger vision, ready to be unleash or true.

    B: What we can do?
I will put myself into test with circumstances by making...

  • I agree it's painful and annoying when someone is putting so much effort to make the difference in the workplace and the only thing s/he gets the unconcerned acknowledgement of competence.

  • I am passionate about language learning problems in schools, colleges, and university level as well. I want to bring innovation in the English Language curriculum of my country. I know if one has a proper knowledge of communication skills, whether it's written or spoken, only then s/he can prove to be a true asset for the country.

  • I must say first we need to work on all the core skills of an effective rhetoric only then we can bring positive change. A mind filled with extreme emotions can't work properly but learnt competency can be a definite way to usher the process of changing traumatic scenario.

  • I'm very excited to learn more about this course and hope that will help me to build more confidence and will also constructive to develop a rightful policy of my ambitions and passions.

  • I am willing to work on youth and their problems in Academics as well as professional achievement.

  • @BrianTurner agree, now I am ready to learn more. Thank u for great effort.

  • What are your experiences so far of writing in English? Not so good, until now. Why? Because of inadequate usage of tense in essays. What do you think academic writing is?I think good academic writing, is like a skill to communicate well. When, one is writing for whatever purpose, s/he is trying to convey what is perceived by...
