In Swedish the word Rollkugel can be translated into tracking ball or controlling ball which is kind of what a computer mouse is.

I think that it would be unwise to disregard the future technology as it can definitely serve a purpose but with that being said, no it will never replace human translation.

1). Always have clear and upfront discussions ahead of a new assignment/client so everyone is on the same page.
2). You should always act in a respectful manner, that includes giving someone their needed space and respecting other people's cultures. -

I think first language you should see is the language of the artist that made art piece, i think that is a great way to pay homage to the artist. I also believe that audio guided headsets should be used more (it works great in some bigger museums like The Louvre).

How things work in Sweden and i'm sure in many other countries as well is that when a song (sang in Swedish) becomes a hit in Sweden it doesn't take long for the song to be released in English. In the majority of the pictures you see the interpreter standing very close to the client to make the conversion as smooth as possible without having to shout, obviously. I can see why in some cases it may not be appropriate, in some cases you need to give people their space and that's why i think it's incredibly important to (if possible) lay down some ground...

I do not speak Welsh but i prefer the Welsh version of the song as it seemed more authentic to the band, i feel like he sang the Welsh version with more passion and that's probably why i liked it more. Even though i've never been to Wales i could still feel a connection to their country and language throw the song.

I searched for images on hot dogs in Swedish and then in English. The key difference that i could see was that the search for the English word hot dogs had a lot more garnish on the hot dog. The Swedish version seemed much more simple looking.

For me translation is accessibility, by making sure everyone has access to the same information, book or media regardless of the language barriers. It makes the world a more equal place to live in.

This language is so far apart from both English and Swedish that it's almost impossible to translate. I do agree with some other commentators in that it feels like the Language has a Turkish ring to it.
