I have been a secondary teacher for nearly 30 years and the lack of engagement by students who think they can't learn is one of the main reasons why I began learning about neuroeducation.

It is challenging to truly connect socially with our students through virtual classrooms - especially when the student feels socially isolated. One strategy that I take to reduce students stress online and build connection is to make a slight change my written language especially when engaging one on one with that student. To... -
