  • Amazing wealth of experience and expertise among this group. So excited that you've chosen our course!

  • Hello all, welcome!! You are in good company with us, we assure you.

  • What next for advocacy? Happy IWD2022!!!

  • What do we think about us creating such a resource?

  • When the law says one thing... and...

  • How can we make this better? Great insights here and calls to action!

  • Love, violence, power, tradition, culture... emotive...

  • Complexity is really emphasised here!! Very much need to be careful on them/us differentiation - this is not our aim and we need to acknowledge differences and emphasise mutual respect. Conversations that promote sharing and trying to understand through talking openly are crucial.

  • Fewer 'tweets' and more responses to the questions, but excellent answers to those!! So humbled by your engagement in this activity!!

  • @PanagiotaFlevotomou thank you for sharing

  • Thanks for all your insights. I think the word 'migrant' is highlighted especially this week with the war on Ukraine.

  • Thanks, Jill. Do you have a link?

  • Thanks for all your comments and insights. How do we do this (also acknowledging current context re Ukraine)? Power and destruction... and the 'good fight'...

  • Thanks for sharing these. Wonderful to see so much sharing! We can all learn from each other.

  • I feel bad 'liking' these posts as I don't like them, but it's the only way to acknowledge that I've read and engaged with them. Thank you all for sharing.

  • Lots of positive energy and intent here!!!

  • Incredible to see so many more join our community here. Fantastic range of disciplines, professions, backgrounds and intentions! We hope you enjoy learning with us!

  • AMAZING

  • Thanks for sharing these!

  • thanks for sharing!!!

  • Welcome and thanks for joining us. We hope it's useful!

  • We were reflecting yesterday about feeling both nervous and excited. We're striven hard to create the content based on our research, work with FGM organisations and consultations with professional groups, but please do feel free to let us know anything that makes you feel uncomfortable and we will work with you to discuss topics and facilitate mutual learning...

  • Welcome to you all. Amazing to see such diversity among our course participants in terms of backgrounds, professions and locations. At my last check, we had 108 students from 31 countries registered. This makes for such a rich classroom. Looking forward to reading your discussion posts on the topics for week 1. We're really keen for you to engage and feedback...
