  • But on the other hand, he's sending private space shuttles into space, at a huge environmental cost.

  • What about the environmental impact of Elon Musk's purpose?

  • But you know that absolutely nothing will happen unless you start... and that's 100% certain. What's the worst that could happen? if you fail, you'll learn.

  • Your tribe is out there! Use the internet. Your tribe might even be spread across the entire planet... you just need to find it!

  • That's what you're here for! I've found that writing everything down in post-it notes and brightly coloured pens can help me gain clarity. How about having some fun while you find your way?

  • Prioritise. We all want to do so many things (and do them well), but time is a limited (and precious) resource. Focus your energy on the areas you think will pay off most handsomely.

  • You could be such a great teacher to people who don't have those skills! That way you can train the team you'll end up working with...

  • that's true. How about doing some research on impact investment models? Surely, there must be a creative and innovative way for you to access the capital you need.

  • Harness the power of social media! Your tribe is out there. Go find it!

  • But aren't you the commander of your own ship? Measuring yourself against Greta Thumberg serves no purpose: draw inspiration from those people whose experience you admire... even try to get in touch with them and join them!

  • the fact that you haven't launched that platform of yours or joined an existing one YET doesn't mean you can't! What do you think it would take for you to be able to do one or the other?

  • Have you checked superpeer out? I'm sure you can find someone to guide or mentor you there!

  • All the information is out there, at your fingertips. You can learn just about anything online, so go for it!

  • that's a fabulous problem to have because while you can't control your environment, you can surely take steps to face your fears and make the change you need to be.

  • That's true. What does your own environment look and feel like?

  • Find your tribe! Where do you think you can meet like/minded people to join your cause or for your to bounce ideas off with?

  • Absolutely, but what do those issues and particularities look like for you? What would be your first step?

  • What do you think might be your first step?

  • This is fabulous. Women (mothers, especially, but anyone with caretaking roles) undergo such hard and unrecognised emotional labour that I'm positive that reducing this will ultimately lead to a more equitable society. We know that communities with more empowered and better-treated women are stronger communities!

  • Abolutely! Education, then, lies at the core of your mission.

  • I'm 100% on board with this. But more than everyone seeming to be equal, what we need to achieve is a situation where everyone is treated as equal.

  • Sports are a great place to start. We all hope to see gender pay inequality disappear across all professions!

  • Completely agree. How we act and speak shapes the world around us, every minute of every day.

  • Exactly! There is no secret formula for setting change in motion, but embarking on this journey with an open mind is the key to finding your own secret sauce recipe.

  • @WashimaIornder Absolutely. The power communities have should never be underestimated. It's much easier (and more effective) to enact change at a micro/local level and then catalyse it and help it build momentum.

  • Perhaps a good place to start would be to write your own view of those agreements and how you see them interacting with each other, or failing to do so?

  • Don't be discouraged. Some of the most crucial changes in history have been set in motion by people in circumstances not too different from yours (think Rosa Parks, Rigoberta Menchu, and so many other people living in third world countries who wanted to see things change). Raising your voice and telling your story goes much further than you can possibly...

  • Absolutely. We can't settle with the way things are. We are doomed if we do!

  • Oh! Thanks for the heads up. I'll let the tech team know so they can fix the issue.

  • That's a great strategy. Having a consistent schedule will surely work out wonderfully.

  • Absolutely right, Ahmed!

  • How you experience and live in the world is crucial. Policymakers need to have access to your insights if they are to create policies that actually work to support people. I encourage you to use your voice, tell your story, share those insights!

  • That's fabulous, Clare. I've seen how access to culture leads to stronger social tissue and ultimately leads to more prosperous communities. You'll make that change happen, I'm sure!

  • Congatulations on your new baby! After I became a mum I discovered that children have an incredible capacity for teaching us, for helping us grow. I always thought I'd be teaching my son things but soon realised it was the other way around. Keep your eyes and your mind open to what your child will show you. You'll be amazed.

  • Absolutely, Gloria. Economies get stronger and societies improve across the board when women and girls have education and opportunities and are treated fairly. Change the way women can participate in society and are rewarded and recognised for what they do, and you will change the world!

  • The world is in such urgent need of this, Deepak. we don't have another planet and our children and grandchildren shouldn't need to fix the wreckage past generations have created. I'm behind this 100%!

  • you are so right: we need a better understanding of mental health. I'm sure achieving that will lead to more equality, less prejudice, more inclusion, and a better society in general.

  • Sahar, there are a lot of examples around the world of how music can actually create a positive impact in people's lives. Check out an organisation called In Place of War.

  • That's fabulous. I think the world needs a new financial model that's ethical and fair.

  • Spot on! i also believe in the power of networks for fostering positive change.
