  • I'm so pleased you're excited - we are excited to have you! I struggled too... I was diagnosed with dyscalculia but only during my undergraduate studies - it's so important for children to have role models like you!

  • Really great thinking, Matthew!

  • I love a good timeline!

  • What a wonderful response, Blanca!

  • Absolutely! Mistakes are a vital part of learning.

  • Notion is a really nifty tool!

  • What a great idea... when you're given slides as part of your notes, try making your own notes underneath them in an electronic copy - it means you have the references sat right above your own thinking!

  • Pomodoro is brilliant - I find it useful when I am juggling lots of different things...

  • Definitely. Peer support is vital. We have a HUGE Twitter community at EHU - you can find us at @ehu_foe

  • We have a huge focus on mental health, here. It is utterly vital. I totally empathise with your experiences with Dyslexia - I only found out I was Dyscalculic during my teacher training. Thankfully, education is getting much better at identifying and supporting learners with diverse needs.

  • The production line thinking is really powerful, isn't it? Although we are somewhat confined by the curriculums we have to follow, teachers have the ability to bring subjects to life!

  • What a fascinating response, Amy. There has been some shift in the use of STEM subjects linking education more closely to the 'real world' but there is still so much more to be done in this area.

  • Wonderful to have you here, Blanca. Your insights will be really valuable.

  • Lovely to meet you, Amy! Career switches are really common in teaching; I did that myself. Welcome to the course, I really hope you enjoy it.

  • I hope you have enjoyed your first week!

  • I'd agree, Muhammad. It definitely helps you to think in a very strategic way.

  • A good plan, Claire!
