Achievements

Activity

  • Purpose is key ...yes

  • I will always use the approach of Grassroot campaigning

  • To clearly set an action plan ...one will need to understand these points

  • Without mincing words...The time and resources invested into this course was worth it. Thank you so much British Council. Thanks

  • Gracias

  • Well stated and impactful.

  • I take it gratefully Sir

  • I promise i wont give up ....Thanks

  • Yes Very well

  • Amazing from the beginning...Thanks for everything

  • Success will be measured by how much we have achieved on the basis of smooth intelligent delivery.

  • I will carry out surveys to gather different forms of data.

  • I believe all the points are clearly significant in the process.

  • My policy ideas is I want youths in developing and underdeveloped Africa to have access to quality ICT Training with World Class Certifications, Campaign against cybercrime, This is what i have done passionately for many yyears with Global Certifications and i am ready to collaborate with people of like minds.

  • Clearly explained

  • She rallied the MP's successfully and wasn't going to give up until her pursuit was realised.

  • As little as dumping refuse in appropriate location, Obeying traffic rules and proper use of private and public properties.....

  • Speed

  • Brilliant pieces put together ....Thanks for the details

  • working together, listening to people, understanding people, coming up with alternate strategies

  • Power is a skill. It’s a skill that can be learned

  • To fix a time i communicated but was misunderstood I tried reaching out to individuals one at a time ...then was able to get a number of them to understand

  • This is a very important aspect of the whole course of study

  • Reciprocity, Authority and liking

  • Stakeholders who are engaged and who have influence

    They are my key players

  • Now i understand who my policy idea stakeholders are

  • I agree completely with Knowledge, Skills, Passion and Experience being the key reason i am championing this course ...

  • All the tactics are very vital

  • The biggest challenge /barrier was Changing human attitudes and increasing awareness.
It was overcome by focusing on what could be tackled....on a small achievement at a time basis.

  • Thank You

  • It's getting more interesting and understandable.....Yes

  • I got this straight that Evidence is not perfect as we need to take different contexts and viewpoints into account - but it is an important part of policymaking....i also appreciate the possibility of having Quantitative/Qualitative Observational evidence and Qualitative/Quantitative Experimental data...

  • Experimental approach is more valuable .....

Cost and ethics are the most important considerations even though the other approaches are not nothing

  • Having been exposed to this course...i believe i will need both quantitative and qualitative data for my policy idea....surveys and interviews will go a long way in helping me to further understand the idea.....focused groups is another better way to gather more information from different perspectives.

  • Thanks for this summary ...i understand the case studies better here

  • Evidence and facts are all in the pictures...but there's the need to check the whole process before making decision as is in the case of cane toads in Australia.

  • I feel for me it is step 1....but the significance of evidence and data is valid for every steps of the way....

  • Policy Idea - Youth development on ICT and War against Cyber Crimes.

  • You hit the point directly...Yes...i agree with You

  • Unarguably Evidence and qualitative data are two major tools needed to get policy makers into doing the necessary adjustment....once the story is compellingly evident with sufficient data....There will be actions in positive direction.

  • I take your point gratefully....Thanks Deborah

  • Yes...it was said in one of the introductory tips ....

  • Nuclear war cannot be won...and so shouldn't be started....

  • I am passionate about Technology, especially Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity.... I believe with sufficient resources I can provide young people with training and development as well as connecting them with scholarship opportunities for training and certifications.

  • Access to Education ....and Health

  • I agree with Policy being a framework of ideas, actions, rules and principles. Sometimes expressed in the short term or a ‘catch phrase’. and that Policies drive the thoughts and intents of all the participants to work together for a common purpose.

  • Purpose is the essence of our actions.......Nelson Mandela will be my very example of that line

  • For me....it's the needed experience and qualifications ....and of course the necessary resources especially in the area of technology which i have started to pursue vigorously by engaging in trainings and certifications .....its a process

  • I am confident about what i want to do ....but i need to work more on what i can do...reason is if there's no clear understanding of what i can do....there can be no purposeful participation

  • My Passion is to see the world practice Good Governance through Politics and Leadership....then Cybersecurity in all human endeavours...

  • @NnaemekaBenedictEzeala thanks for this points.....

  • Thanks for the tips...very clear and understandable....i am excited to be here
