    I got this straight that Evidence is not perfect as we need to take different contexts and viewpoints into account - but it is an important part of policymaking....i also appreciate the possibility of having Quantitative/Qualitative Observational evidence and Qualitative/Quantitative Experimental data...

    Having been exposed to this course...i believe i will need both quantitative and qualitative data for my policy idea....surveys and interviews will go a long way in helping me to further understand the idea.....focused groups is another better way to gather more information from different perspectives.

    Unarguably Evidence and qualitative data are two major tools needed to get policy makers into doing the necessary adjustment....once the story is compellingly evident with sufficient data....There will be actions in positive direction.

    To me, policy is...

    I agree with Policy being a framework of ideas, actions, rules and principles. Sometimes expressed in the short term or a ‘catch phrase’. and that Policies drive the thoughts and intents of all the participants to work together for a common purpose.
