  • We're really happy to hear that you enjoyed the course! Many are asking for tips on movies and TV-series in Norwegian to help you learn more (So, I'll re-post this comment). There are a lot of great Norwegian films and TV-series out there, but it might vary on how available they are through streaming services like Netflix. But here are some:

  • Hei! Kurset er åpent for deg etter at du er ferdig med uke fire. Så du rekker en runde til!

  • Ja, det er helt riktig!

  • Rosalie: You should get to the æ when pressing down on a and just slide your finger on screen to select æ. If you lift your finger the menu will disappear. If I understood you correctly?

  • Sorry for the late reply, but yes, changing the keyboard to Norwegian might be the best option.

  • We stand corrected! And now we have corrected the error.

  • Thanks for your feedback! I'll send it to our chatbot-tech-guy.

  • Yes, it's a great idea to play around with the chatbot! It's not very sophisticated in its first edition, but it will get better. Glad you liked it!

  • Do you mean to find them on the keyboard? It is explained in the very first step in the course how to find the æ, ø and å.

  • Thanks for your feedback! The educators have corrected the error.

  • Very sorry if there was an error in one of the questions! We will fix it, but could you please tell us which of the questions? As Jefimija said you have to have a captial letter in the beginning of the sentences.

As far as I can see from 1.11, every blank that should use "måtte" should be written "må" - without capital letter.

  • Glad du liker kurset! Har du mulighet til å si hvor du fant feilene? (Glad you like the course! Is it possible for you let us know where you found the errors?)

  • It is explained in the first step of the course. If you press Option + ' you'll get æ. Option + o you'll get ø and Option + a you'll get å. Combine this with Shift and you'll get capital letters.

  • The first version of the chatbot does not correct your input, but we're planning to develop it further. So, the chatbot will make you reflect on what you have just learnt and give you a feel on how it is to have a conversation in Norwegian and practice your understanding of Norwegian.

  • The R might be difficult to master, but as Ian says, just do what you can. You'll get there eventually. And if you use a skarre-R people will just think you come from the south or west of Norway. :) And there will be a small section with the R-sound in the fourth week.

  • Great that you gave it a shot! But I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't post it on the Padlet page. If you post the link here I can put it up for you.

    It should be like this:
    - Go to the padlet page.
    - Double click whereever you want
    - Choose the "camera-icon". Then a pop-up window will appear.
    - Paste the YouTube-link and save.

  • Hallo mijn naam is Svein. I live in Oslo, Norway, and right now I speak Norwegian (of course), English, some German and who knows - maybe a bit dutch pretty soon?

  • Haha! This was fun! Take a look on the Padlet page for some awkward movement.

    1. Felt like diving down into an abyss.
    2. The sound turned me into shivering jello.
    3. Pictured myself like some sort of space rocket.

  • And then I'm on the Padlet-page! Hope some of you will do the same, so I'm not all alone... :)

It was a bit difficult to move to the Radiohead song, but when the drums kicked in it was easier to figure out what to do.

With the Kravitz song it was just to close my eyes and pretend to be mr.Kravitz himself.

  • You're right! Answers are now updated. Hope you got a good banana. :)
