Hi @GalatiaPolitopoulou. Thanks for making us aware of this. I have contacted the site owner. The browser Chrome does trust the certificate (whereas Mozilla uses a different library of certificates it trusts) so you could access the site using that as an alternative. More information can be found here...

Hi Sasha. Stephanie's research was funded by industry. The funder/company is looking to minimise impact on the whales in a variety of ways. For example one possible output is more efficient propeller design to make quieter ships.

HI Susan. Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties viewing this video on an iPad. The same problem came up for a couple of learners in our previous run and FutureLearn are still looking into it. It seems to work on some iPads and not others apparently.

Hi Linda. From time to time we will use other web tools to enhance the course...unfortunately, FutureLearn always opens these (and all links) in the same tab/window rather than a new one. If you right-click on any link and select 'Open in new tab/window' then that should help prevent losing the course.

Hi Frank, sorry to hear this. You certainly shouldn't have a problem with replaying video. Please could you report it to the FutureLearn technical support using the questionmark icon in the bottom right screen? It's not been reported by other learners and may be due to settings on an unfamiliar machine or something to do with the FutureLearn platform.

Hi Mary and Julia. Thinglink is a third party (not FutureLearn or University of Southampton service) and, like many online tools, it's part of their business model to offer extra features such as full screen if you sign up. You can access all of the data and hotspots on the free version without going full screen.
