  • It is intersting to see that number one referral was the lack of parental care, and it is what I have seen in my professional practice as and educator. Now days, parents are too bussy to take care of their outsprings and they leave them with family members, caregivers or childcares with no experience in child care.

  • Interesting lesson

  • I think, a child become vulnerable and at risk when he/she has been neglected emotionally and physically in their early years- from infant to 7 years old without the financial and cultural background of the kid

  • I enjoy learning about kidsto help parents understand their role in their child's development

  • How sad Francis Bacon's quote resambles, still, my self!!!!! 2019

  • I considered good in my logical thinking, but when I discovered that even though my logical thinking was ok and the conclusion I arrived led me to take wrong decitions , I started doubting of myself. Then, what I discovered was that the premises I took was totaly wrong because it was based in my life experiences, not very pleasant academically and...

  • Hi, my name is Margarita from Mexico. I would like to be more knowledgeable in what critical thinking is to understand my own thinking.

  • I had to read the answer to get the right word in some of the sentences. It means that using this words by itself, I don't see the difference in pronunciation...I .need a lot of practice

  • Eager to learn abuout barries to prevent people talking about the emotional impact of illness and how to help others

  • Interesting information

  • Need to practice, practice and more practice and patience!!!! specially when words are used in rhymes.

  • In both videos, I understood the words speech in one and the word hard in the other in context, but when I listened carefully, I did notice the difference in the pronunciation

  • I like the video. In none of my English classes, that I took, learned this important material.

  • Maybe practicing in front of a mirror can help me to practice short and long vowels????

  • I will need a lot of practice!!!! watching the video many, many times...

  • I live inthe border of USA and Mexico and is has been so hard to improve my pronunciation since many of the people speak my own language, even in my workplace.

  • It is so funny but true. I started speaking English in my late 40s and feel very embarased to speak it because of my accent. I would like to improve pronunciation

  • As a very important part to improve my mental health, during my worst period of ostoarthritis in my kness, was spirituality. I changed my diet, tipe of excersise, incresing the consumption of water but the major boost was from the spiritual aspect

  • I experienced the cycle of depresion and over sensitivity to the physical pain, and nobody explained what was going on. Explanation from doctors was that my body was oversensitive to any physical pain.

  • I thought just the mind will affected the body, but now it is too clear that it works in both ways

  • I strongly believe that physical illness attention has to go hand in hand with mental treatment in order to have a better quality of life, even for some chronic illness. Also this integration has to be applied in a more social way instead of benefit just a some group of people.

  • Margarita Arzate made a comment

It was devastating, he does not have a real life: no family or social life since he is not interacting with nobody else, except with the dialysis machine and his job. I think, he has been in a depression? for a long time. He has been just walking through life with no motivation, like waiting to die. Maybe, with emotional support from a professional, even...

Today, I'm working with adult education and most of the students are struggling in school, not because they are not smart, but because they are going through depression or anxiety and physical illness? I, myself, went through...
