  • Thank you so much, Mrs. I'm eager to learn.

  • The contents included in this course are so precious for me. Thank you so much.

  • During second week, I got some insights into neuroplasticity and the human brain, educational neuroscience, understanding of the human stress response and the mind-body connection. That's is great for me. Thank you so much, Teachers.

  • Yes, I think societal illnesses are predominately caused by stress. Because, stress can be tired our mind and after that it can also effect on our health. If we are stressed too much, our brain can't work well and we can feel isolation. Finally, our communication will not be good.

  • I think peer interaction within a classroom is more social and emotional between the students and teacher. This way can stimulate dopamine and encourage our students to participate.

  • On a personal level, we need to reduce stress as much as we can and we need to be fresh as much as we can. In the educational setting, teachers need to understand how distress hijacks the amygdala. Educators need to know well distress and eustress and they need to realise that eustress can play a productive role in student learning and life. Moreover,...

  • As educators, we need to understand about neuroplasticity and we have to use this understanding in our teaching process. Educators can help students better understand their brains by using various activities. And after that, we let them to understand what kind of learners they are. Moreover, we can teach students about their brain and how they function.

  • 1. The core elements of learning are a safe learning environment, thinking outside the box, relationship between students and teachers, neuroplasticity and active learning.
    2. From a neurological perspective, teachers need to on students' needs. They have to create a social-emotional learning environment and that they can support and guide them how to learn.

  • Thank you so much for giving this great opportunity to strengthen my speaking skill.

  • In week one, I have learnt about the brain is a social organ and it is fo relationship - to be social. And also, for the brain to act entirely, it needs to work in a safe and trusting environment. For example, in education, school and classroom environments can provide enriched atmosphere through supportive, caring and encouraging and relationships which can...

In light of our new understanding of the social brain, I believe that the use of technology is developing our brain capacity to a certain extent. Nowadays, technology supports many learning media and tools which can assist and develop our brain. Moreover, technology can make our brain active.

I think that whether the mobile phone has improved or deteriorated in relation with human beings depends on the person who you are and what you are using this for. According to my opinion, if we use effectively mobile phone, it will not deteriorate our ability to relate as human beings.

  • I think all of 9 teachings listed from neuroscience can contribute and help in education setting. Among them, the following scientific insights will make the most impact in my teaching:
    1. The brain is a social organ.
    2. Early learning is powerful.
    3. Fear and stress impair learning.

  • There is no doubt that technology will help us understand our mysterious brain and it's functions.

  • 1. According to Lieberman (2013), getting more social is the secret to making us a smarter, happier and more productive. In 21st century five skills, collaboration and communication are also the skills needed in social interaction. If we live and do socially in our team or environment, our relationship with people around us will be more familiar, more secure,...

There is no doubt that neuroscience is helping in both teaching and learning processes. The more we learn about neuroscience, the much knowledge we get that neuroscience is contributing in education. We can create the learning environment which is suitable for the students by learning their brains. According to my opinion,it is very useful for education and...

  • 1. Sometimes, people may behave negative manners according to their situations and emotion.
    2. They are creating anger and dissatisfaction when they are thinking and feeling negatively and sometimes happiness when they are joyful or happy or satisfied with something.
    3. Mostly, all of my students have positive behaviours and attitudes although they...

  • In reality, teaching-learning process has many events such as homeworks, assignments, social interaction between students and teachers, evaluations, deadlines, exams or assessments that are sometimes stressful for the students. They can create stress and pressure. As stress can have a impact on the learning and memory process which are the goal of the...

  • According to Hart(1983), without an understanding of the brain in designing an educational experience, is like designing without an understanding of the hand. I also think like Hart,1983 ,that the brain is an essential organ for learning and learning about the brain is also included in teaching. Understanding of the brain might help in our leadership and...

  • During the last few years, religion, morality, consciousness, social interaction, and artistic appraisal were considered "taboo" and they were not considered in education because of modern-day technological advances. However, Martin-Loeches, (2015),argues that neuroscience has a lot of contribution to education and, and it will be increasingly contributed to...

  • According to Brier(1997), the gap between taking neuroscientific findings and applying them in the classroom was considered as " a bridge too far" until about 2010. Nowadays, a sub-field within neuroscience, educational neuroscience is developed. And so, educational neuroscience can help teachers to understand students' emotions and thoughts on the subjects...

  • Thank you so much for sharing knowledge about the usefulness of neuroscience in education and replying me.

  • After watching Louis Cozolino's video, I got that the brain is a social organ for our connection with the people around us. After reading his book, I got much knowledge about the neuroscience of human relationships and social neuroscience of education that can useful in our teaching and learning processes. I realized that I need to pay more attention to my...

I have encountered people who I considered to be great leaders. They have accountability, empathy and sympathy. And, they listen carefully to the report or feedbacks of the members and care and lead to a right way. As the leaders, we need to create an environment that makes our staffs calm and happy and need to assist our staffs or partners, sometimes help them. The main point to be noticed is that our working environment must not be stressful and let them know that it is a collaborating and caring place to work on our growth journey. Moreover, all leaders must know that...

  • TED Talk Neuroscience and Leadership is effective for the leaders and it points out to look at neuroscience and how the brain works in leadership capacities and how to train our brain. Good leaders need to help ourselves and staffs to be more confident and to do things we do not want to do. In this case, FEAR is the barrier in training or changing our train....

  • According to Mask(2013), a great leader have more coherence in his brain and so his brain is much better connected although neurons are composed in functional regions. Moreover, the more inspirational leaders who have above abilities can engage all so much better with others especially their staffs or followers as they have higher levels of empathy and they...

  • According to Rock(2013), as the leaders, the more we understand about the brain, the more we know everything well that is happening in our daily lives and it can help more better in a relationship with someone. We can know various languages for what is happening in a greater sense of certainty, and an understanding of the brain can help us to manage or control...

  • I think most of the characteristics of each leader are similar. A good leader can take the chances and opinions of the staffs and fellow members into right account when they are making decisions and plans. Moreover, a great leader listen to the feedback from the staffs and always take them into account. An exceptional leader must be active, confident,...
