  • Kiki's Delivery Service is my favourite!! I would also love to visit the Ghibli park one day! :)

  • @KathHumphrey Hi Kath, thank you so much!! I hope they are as lovely as you! My email is ks1097@york.ac.uk, if you could make an "introduction" CC'ing me in with anyone appropriate that would be very much appreciated, and I could explain in more detail about my research :)
Thank you so much in advance!
PS: hope you are enjoying the course :)

  • Welcome everyone! I am starting this week a little late with you all due to an extended Bank Holiday rest ;)
I will read through all your comments made so far, hope everyone enjoys this week!

  • I know what you mean Jane! I assure you it is not all like that though haha :)

  • Plenty of time Helen! :)

  • Great ideas Siarra!

  • You're spot on! Manga more than Anime though I would say, as Anime is the "cartoon" version for tv :)

  • I would certainly say so Helen!

  • Welcome to Week 2 everyone! Happy to see so many of you have kept learning with us. Please feel free to tag me with @ if you have any specific questions or comments for me, but otherwise I'll be reading through all your comments as with Week 1 :)

  • Hi Kath! Nice to "meet" another York local :)
I don't suppose you are on good terms with any members of your English department? I am still looking to talk to local schools as part of my research and I need 1 more school before I can finish! Happy to drop you an email/message with more details if you think it might be possible? No worries if not, I just...

It might be helpful for you to make one as you go along for your own personal use, that might also help with the "test" questions too hehe
