  • Foley is used for recording sounds that might have been lost of damaged or to enhance sounds for effect or because the scene needs them to convey a particular mood or message.

  • The term runner is just a nicer way of saying, dogsbody.

  • Avid is still the go-to program for a lot of the industry. Although many professional projects are edited on Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro .

  • The final year film can take most of the year, so this would have been months of animating, and although there were 8 animators they had additional computers dedicated to rendering the projects and then an editor and additional computers for cutting the scenes together.

  • Start with small projects. Build bigger each time!

  • @RaulGuerrero If you are on your own you should be able to use the time-lapse function on the camera setting. It takes a picture event couple of seconds.
