The two articles are quite old, especially considering how the world has changed since then: I'm thinking Brexit in the UK/Europe, and the Covid pandemic, of course. Some points are still valid, but overall, I would be curious to see what the authors of the articles would say now.

There has been a lot of change throughout my life! On the positive side, several moves across continents instigated by me. But then on the negative side, several redundancies, divorce, death of a parent, all emergent changes which have been very difficult to deal with. But I got up and dusted myself down again each time!
