Open University program

Global Development in Practice: Doing development

Develop your knowledge of the tools, methods and frameworks you need to make a difference within the development landscape.

Global Development in Practice: Doing development

This program is part of the Global Development Management degree offered by The Open University

Learn what's required for effective development intervention

This program is the third of a set of four that make up the Open University module Development Policy and Practice (D890).

How do you design development interventions? This program will use case studies to build your understanding of the tools, methods, and frameworks needed.

You will be taken through the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating a development intervention. You will look at these different stages in the chronological sequence of a project or program cycle, which is widely used among development agencies.
