Students will acquire skills in being able to reasonably analyse data sets by interpreting the parameters associated with commonly used multivariate functions. Students will also learn how to make better decisions through mathematical methods in optimisation problems such as: production planning, machine scheduling, robotics/vehicle routing, network design, and resource allocation.
