Dr Danielle D’Lima

Senior Teaching Fellow/Lecturer at the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change

Dr Danielle D’Lima designs and delivers teaching across the UCL MSc Behaviour Change as well as overseeing research projects on intervention development, implementation and evaluation. She has an evolving interest in capacity building in Behaviour Change Science and Implementation Science as well as the application of Behaviour Change Science to teaching and training. Danielle has a PhD from Imperial College London on the influence of feedback on professional behaviour change in healthcare and has contributed to various research projects on patient safety and quality improvement in the NHS.

Professor Susan Michie

Director of the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change and Professor of Health Psychology

A world leader in behavioural science, her research focuses on understanding behaviour change theoretically, developing methods for designing effective interventions and translating evidence into practice and policy. Professor Michie developed the Behaviour Change Wheel framework and leads the Human Behaviour-Change Project and has several policy responsibilities, including co-Director of NIHR’s Behavioural Science Policy Research Unit and chairing a Food Standards Agency scientific committee.

Dr Paul Chadwick

Deputy Director of the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change and Associate Professor of Behaviour Change

Dr Chadwick’s expertise lies in developing interventions to change eating and activity behaviours, the management of long-term conditions such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, reducing gender-based violence and the integration of systems thinking with behaviour change theory and practice. He has held senior leadership positions in the NHS and scaled up several social and private enterprises to deliver health-related behaviour change with national and international reach.

Dr Louise Atkins

Senior Teaching Fellow/Lecturer at the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change

Dr Atkins is a researcher, trainer and consultant in behaviour change intervention design and evaluation. Dr Atkins coordinates the Centre for Behaviour Change’s international Summer Schools and leads its Australasian Hub. Dr Atkins’s is co-author of the book Behaviour Change Wheel: A Guide to Designing Interventions.

Dr Kristina Curtis

Senior Teaching Fellow/Lecturer at the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change

Dr Kristina Curtis is a behavioural scientist with a multidisciplinary background spanning across industry, research, teaching, training and consultancy. Dr Curtis leads the Centre for Behaviour Change’s bespoke training courses and webinar series. Dr Curtis’s primary research interests are in the development and evaluation of mHealth interventions and in particular, how the convergence of behavioural science and UX design promotes effective engagement.
